The Green machine 2 is the next generation Green Machine. In summation, it is a big wheel tricycle aimed at kids 6 years and up (don’t be surprised to see the odd Dad on one too, as they seem to love the Green Machine just as much). You might think, what… a tricycle? That’s for little kids isn’t it? Well, yes and no.
You see this trike is turbo charged with features such that you wouldn’t recognize it as a plain old tricycle. In short, it is a stunt trike that gives you the ability to pull off some gravity defying stunts that will get the blood racing and have your friends howling for more.
The machine is made by Huffy Bikes, an American company that has a long track record in innovating new bikes and tricycles (Do you remember the radio bike or more recently the bike fitted with water pistols). The Green machine 2 has a large front wheel (21 inch) that is the power source for the trike. Pedals and a crankshaft turn the wheel (provided you supply a little leg power of course). You can generate some handy speed up on a flat surface.
The innovation is in how you control the machine. You have 2 control columns in front of you, similar to the joystick you would use to controlan airplane (except x2). The dual control columns allow the rider to steer the rear wheels and apply a disk brake to the forward big wheel.
By playing with the controls you can perform 180, 360 and 540 degree turns. As the tricycle is so low to the ground and the control system ensures that you keep the center of gravity on the machine in the middle, it is unlikely that you will flip or tip over too. Once a child develops a little confidence in the machine he/she will be able to perform all sorts of stunts and will be eager to think up new tricks.
The Green Machine 2 will let your kids develop their own self confidence as they pilot this stunt machine and also get much needed exercise.
