How Does Your Office Deal With The Snow?

I have to say that the weather is pretty bad here in the UK at the moment and I have noticed some of the US states are pretty cold too. What happens to your business when it keeps on snowing so much that all of the local buses and trains are delayed and the roads are iced over??

Fight It??

There are so many companies out there that just seem to get on with it, us included. All you have to do is try and encourage people to come in if they can. If you are fortunate enough that you work for a company that you could in fact do some of the work at home then this always becomes an option and there are many companies out there that would rather you kick back at home and work than risk coming in to do the same thing on executive chairs.

You may think to yourself, why can’t I work at home all of the time? One of the major reasons for this is the customers, they are going to want to speak to you at some point and once they have your home number they could ring you at any stage of the day. On top of this you will have files on your home PC that should really stay in the office. What if someone gets into the files at home, well then its your fault. In the office on the other hand, well that means it isnt your fault.

Give In To The weather??

Some companies really cannot be bothered when it comes to the snow so they just shut for a few days. However if you are thinking about doing this you will lose money each day you are closed so bare this in mind.

So stop slacking and get back into those serviced offices London, and get your butts back on the executive office seating.
